M&K Truck Centers announced continued growth in the mid-west with the planned acquisition of three additional Mack and Volvo dealerships. The soon to be acquired locations have operated as family owned dealerships by Pozzo Truck Center for ninety-seven years. The Pozzo locations M&K will acquire are in Chicago Heights, Illinois, Gary and South Bend Indiana, increasing M&K’s footprint to 21 locations in four states – Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Additionally, M&K Truck Centers is expanding at current facilities. In Scranton, PA a 15,000 SQ FT addition is in progress and in Romulus, MI a new 60,000 SQ FT facility is under construction.

The Pozzo Truck Center dealerships have a great reputation and M&K is excited to add all three to their dealer line-up. This expansion will be very beneficial to customers as M&K Truck Centers will provide unparalleled resources for parts, service, rentals and leasing service from the Canadian border in Michigan through Indiana and the Chicago market. M&K has executed four other acquisitions in 2018 – two in Pennsylvania and two in Michigan – bringing this year’s acquisition total to seven new locations.

Professionally trained staff with some of the most experienced and knowledgeable diesel mechanics, parts specialists and salespeople in the industry will be retained. With these Illinois and Indiana acquisitions, M&K now employs over 900 people, including over 300 trained technicians available for service at our 350 service bays. Completion of the acquisition is scheduled for December 3, 2018 – at that time M&K Truck Centers will begin operations at 94 E Sauk Trail, South Chicago Heights, IL 60411 (Mack Sales, Parts and Service), 3001 E 15th Place, Gary, IN 46403 (Mack and Volvo Sales, Parts and Service) and at 3152 Mary Ct, South Bend, IN 46614 (Mack and Volvo Sales, Parts and Service).
