M&K TRUCK CENTERS APPOINTS NEW VP & DISTRICT MANAGER

BYRON CENTER, MI / July 31, 2018 – M&K Truck Centers is proud to announce the promotion of two outstanding employees. Josh Wolf has been promoted to Regional Vice President of Operations. Josh joined M&K Truck Centers in July of 2015 and has been a very effective leader holding various positions. Mike Rutherford has been promoted to District Manager of all of our Michigan locations. Mike joined M&K Truck Centers in July 2017 as the General Manager of our Byron Center, MI location and has successfully led the team there in addition to responsibilities for several other service locations.

Prior to becoming part of the M&K family, Josh Wolf worked for L&V Trailer Sales for 15 years where he gained substantial industry knowledge and operations level experience. M&K Truck Centers acquired L&V Trailer Sales in July 2015 and Josh took on the responsibility of overseeing all of M&K’s trailer sales & service operations. Josh has been a great asset to M&K in leadership roles and most recently he’s held the position of District Manager, responsible for managing our new Pennsylvania locations in Scranton and Pittsburgh and the trailer centers in Joliet, IL and Wyoming, MI. Josh has 25 years trucking industry experience including sales and sales management, service and parts in addition to wide-ranging technical knowledge.

Mike Rutherford has been promoted to District Manager of all M&K Truck Centers Michigan locations. Mike’s extensive background in the trucking industry began with a family owned commercial vehicle dealership in Lansing, MI. His educational background is in business administration and management, with a primary focus on the transportation industry. Mike has extensive experience working with industry leaders from several truck and trailer manufacturers and leading dealerships that sell and service Mack and Volvo trucks. Mike joined M&K as General Manager of our Byron Center location in July of 2017 and has proven his commitment to M&K’s customers by working with employees throughout West Michigan to ensure customer satisfaction.
